Breadmachine baguettes!:)

Breadmachine baguettes!:)
This is the first time i have baked the baguettes in my bread machine & i loved the outcome! The baguettes were super crispy on the outside while the insides were soft & fluffy .

No more keeping an eye on the oven while the rolls are being baked, for the machine does the all the work like for the loaves & in just 2hrs20mins ( including kneading, proofing & baking ) , the baguettes are ready to be served for lunch or dinner:)
Ingredients:
Water - 190 ml, salt - 3/4 tsp, bread flour - 210 gms, rye flour - 40 gms, instant dry yeast - 3/4 tsp, sugar - 1 tsp.
Method:
Place all the ingredients in the pan of the bread machine & select ' Baguettes' function. When the dough is done, remove the dough from the pan, knead it for a minute( i just did it for a few seconds) & divide the dough into four equal parts . Roll out each part into a small baguette, make tiny slashes on each baguette & dust the baguettes with some rye flour . Place the baguettes in their mould & press the 'start' button again. When done cool the baguettes on a wire rack . Serve these crusty mini baguettes with butter & jam for breakfast or use them to make some crusty sandwich rolls for lunch or dinner!!:)

I served these crusty french rolls with my roast chicken!:)

Enjoy these crusty mini baguettes from ' En veetu samayal'!!;))

Paati: Too much temptation! I love to mince a garlic, mix with olive oil and 1/2 tsp crushed red chillies. Rub on the grill toasted bread... dip and eat! great!

Thanks Paati! yeah, now I remember you did post a picture of your bread machine sometime back.

Wow! That's a really cool machine... The bread machines that we have here don't have that feature. Maybe the expensive Zo's might have it... Enjoy your baguettes!

goodluck with your bread baking kitchenmate!;) try out the simple white bread first & once you get the hang of it , you can start doing brioche, challah etc:) The first loaf that i baked in my bread machine was a simple 1.5 lb sandwich bread too & i still remember that as soon as it was done , both of us finished off half the warm loaf with just some butter & strawberry jam!:))
