I made this dish as part of a (mostly) Tamil food feast for friends last night and it was a big hit. I only partly cooked it and let it sit in the spices all afternoon. The fragrance of the dish changed over time and became more and more intoxicating. I was so happy to have found a recipe that used black pepper as the heat, and it was a great accompaniment to the other dishes which had coconut in them. Thank you so much for the recipe. I'll be making it often and I look forward to trying your others.

Hello,

Thanks for the post. This dish become a huge sucess when I made it last time in my flat. Very helpful for bachelors like me staying outside India. Sad thing is that I am not able to access your other entries as it restricts users from viewing as it is invited only. I wish I am invited as well. Thanks once again!

I've been making this dish for 5 years now and can't decide if I like it better hot the first night or cold the next day. It is so delicious! The spice paste is frying right now and filling the house with a heavenly aroma. So looking forward to eating it later. Thanks again for this great and easy recipe!
